"Better than the TV Cartoon"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I was never a huge TMNT fan…at least of the TV cartoon. (or crap movies)

But this is a great comic. Simple, fun and very different to all the generic super hero fluff. It has a rough, loose art style which has a very charming ‘hands-on’ quality to it. The stories are very basic, fun, cheesy and easy to follow, but it still has a darker, rougher edge to it than the cartoon ever did.

Like a TMNT for a slightly older audience.....that still wants retro fun
