Description

Education is the key to prosperity and opens up a world of opportunities, making it possible for each of us to contribute to a progressive, healthy society. Learning benefits every human being and should be available to all. Whether schools across the nation and abroad are tinkering with the idea of incorporating global perspectives into their schools and classrooms, or have been working hard for years to cultivate a school culture of global mindedness, all must think of working towards the same goal of ensuring that every child has an understanding of the world and global issues, a mindset that embraces diversity and multiple perspectives, and an ability to take action on issues of global significance. Here is a suggested list of global learning goals that must be directed towards future needs of the learners. For education administrators, it is particularly important to make global opportunities available to teachers and encourage them to learn about the world. In this way, teachers will know this is a priority and can build the capacity and confidence to embed global content and perspectives into everyday practice. Most teachers agree that they ended up joining the teaching profession, not by passion, but by chance. The success of teacher education depends on training the teachers to handle people (and pupil), while promoting their welfare and achieve the goals of education. In the past, teachers were a source of knowledge, but now multiple sources of knowledge are available such as, internet, newspapers, magazines, media etc. The change in the scenario of families (shift from joint to nuclear) and globalization have put high expectations and demand on the teachers. Parents aim their children to not only achieve good academic results but also physical, social, emotional and spiritual training. Out of all teachers training programmee, M Ed course helps students to earn a job in diverse fields depending on the specialization one gets in. One can get job in schools and colleges as a teacher. If not this, one can also get a golden chance to work as advisers or the counselors. Research and development department is also good option to work with. I feel very delighted to design this book to fulfill the academic needs of all universities M.Ed, M.A (Education).
