Good read similar lines to the rest of the series. Like meeting old friends again and catching up with their lives.

Description

The village is bedevilled by talk and all is not as it seems in the village of Turnham Malpas ...Does pushy newcomer Venetia have her eye on Peter, the handsome rector? In the Royal Oak, the usual banter has turned to bitter wrangling as the rector's wife Caroline makes a challenge over an ancient country tradition and splits the village her husband had so recently united. Author Biography:

Educated at a co-educational Quaker boarding school Rebecca Shaw went on to qualify as a teacher of deaf children. After her marriage, she spent the ensuing years enjoying bringing up her family. The departure of the last of her four children to university gave her the time to write the many novels which have gained her a legion of loyal fans. She lives in Dorset.
