The Takom 1/35 Fries Kran 16t Strabokran from the plastic tank model kits range accurately recreates the real life German mobile crane.

• Gantry crane (Germany: Strabokran) is a gate type mobile crane which used for maintenance and repair of the German army's tanks during the World War 2.
• It was used not only for maintenance and repair of medium to heavy tanks such as Tiger tanks, Panther tanks, elephants, etc. but also for preparing for the launch of a V2 rocket.
• It was transported by half trucks such as Sd.kfz.8 and Sd.Kfz.9 and it was able to assemble in about an hour with 10 crews.
• About 100 units were manufactured during the War and operated with German Armored Division and Heavy Tank Battalion etc.
• The kit reproduces precise details of the crane.
• Four types of marking are included, it is possible to select and assemble the state at the time of work or transportation.
