A miniature dachshund nearly frozen in the snow now tends to the needs of a woman with extreme medical problems. A puppy abandoned out in the middle of winter brings joy and purpose into the life of an eighty-nine-year-old man. A nearly feral German shepherd becomes a therapy dog and works herding sheep. A shelter dog facing euthanasia is now a Leader Dog for the Blind. These awe-inspiring cases speak to all who will take the time to listen. Each will bring peace that will elevate their souls beyond the confines of this earthly world to the glory of creation. I am constantly inspired with the unconditional love rescue dogs share in spite of the horrors they endured from other human beings.
