Description

This revised edition remains the first serious study of mondo as a global film phenomenon and includes a highly detailed examination of the key films of this cult genre. The author identifies the principle stylistic aspects of the mondo genre through a fascinating 'non-linear' approach that echoes the collage shock effects of the original films. Author Biography:

The author is an academic who teaches and writes about film. He is also a musician and composer, experimental filmmaker and has worked as a journalist, bookseller, community artist, printer and cheesemonger. Mark Goodall is a Senior Lecturer in Media and Film at the University of Bradford One of the founders of The League of Gentlemen.
