Two clans live on the island, the O’Flynns and the Muldoons. Their leaders despise each other so much even the menace of the living dead can’t unite them. Patrick O’Flynn, patriarch of the family that bears his name, is determined to put a bullet in the head of every zombie he can find. His counterpart, Shamus Muldoon insists on keeping the dead “alive” in the hope of finding a cure. But there is no cure for death.

The feud spins out of control, until the problem becomes as much about the misplaced passions of the living as the voracious appetites of the living dead.
