The ‘pilot’ of this season for Supernatural was indeed great start to the series, because it had a complete back story to why they do the thing they do. Losing someone that important would make you wonder why it happened or who did it. And apparently John Winchester found out not ‘who’ but ‘what’ did it.

And this is how everything ‘SUPERNATURAL’ came falling into place for the series ‘star brothers’ Sam and Dean Winchester. For as the series ‘recap’ mentions…The dad wants them to pick up where he left off, saving people, hunting things, the family business. But I must say it's one HELL of a business hey run.

AWESOME SEASON.

I had never even seen this show on TV and it was because of the rave reviews written by others on Mighty Ape that I brought it…now I'm addicted to it! A must buy!

I saw Supernatural on TV, but never got into it until I purchased season one on dvd for my husband!

Fantastic, continuous story line, awesome old skool rock music and “that car”!!! It keeps you on the edge of your seat most of the time. With really funny sarcastic humour!

It's like one great movie that is 6 discs long! So easy to watch all in one sitting!

Really worth owning for anyone who loves the genre, and who wants discs they will watch over and over again!!

(Im trying really hard not to purchase season two straight away!)

The ‘pilot’ of this season for Supernatural was great start to the series, because it went back to what happened in Sam and Dean's past, why they do the things they do. Losing a loved one in that gruesome way would make you wonder why it happened or who did it. And apparently John Winchester found out not ‘who’ but ‘what’ did it. We jump later to the future where we see Sam and Dean grown up. We soon find out that their father has gone missing and Dean needs Sams Help to find him. Along the way they will help people, hunt dangerous things as they search for clues of their fathers whereabouts.

One Hell of a Series and one Hell of a first season!

this season is my favorite of the four and was a great joy to watch!! i couldn't stop watching it!

i have been watching supernatural ever since it came on television somewhat years ago and i am still addicted to it.

Following the stories of hotties, Dean and Sam Winchester, is just great!! FULL of great classical rock music and a HOT CAR! Not to mention the demon slaying and hunting scenes!

scary for some, but for some has the perfect scares! This is worth buying!

Funny to see Sam and Dean when they were younger but the product is perfect.

Love Supernatural, can be scary as hell, but a great watch, hopefully Mighty Ape can get season 3 on dvd, not only Blu-ray

Scary but its supposed to be, but with hotness all over, its worth it

This is my favourite season of supernatural, all the others are good but this first one is the best one, there is heaps of demons and creatures that sam and dean fight along the way.

I really enjoyed this tv series. I have previously watch ghost whisperer and thought it would be similar but man was I wrong! This is a very interesting series, from ghosts to demons this got me scared but was an very good watch and I can't wait to get the series.

This has to be my favourite series ever! Right from the first episode it makes you addicted! Highly recommend this to everyone.

This season is what makes it, shows the guys getting there grips and is really an enjoyable adventure with the BEST SCARY bits. Tops

A great series

Awesome collection, great packaging and great quality DvDs.

There really isn't much to say about the series, other than it must be watched. It's like Buffy, but without the high school and with much more gore. Both are great, but this show has a more intriguing take on different supernatural myths and legends.

This edition comes with subtitles in several different lanugages and a German dub, which is frankly quite amusing after getting used to their actual voices. The commentaries by both the creators/direc­tors/producers and the two lead actors are insightful, giving explanations about the way the show was started and is produced, as well as some fun bits of trivia along the way.

It's even better a second time, so it's absolutely worth buying if you're into shows like this.

Ive watched supernatural scince it first screened in NZ with their first episode ‘Pilot’ it captured me and i have been addicted ever since. I got the chance to go to warner brother studios and actually went on the set for the show ane that was just awsome, it was really scary when you think back to the program it seemed all to real. The story, the supernatrual beings are so beliveible. O and not to mention Jensen is seriously HOT if you like ghost stories and demons etc you will love supernatural and if you like hot guy Jensen is a treat although his brother Sam is not too bad either. The music is also great the choose things that show us the characters and the car oo its gorgeous, the storyline runs deep and as the seris continues there is more than meets they eye with the family… its like a book you cant put down you just want to know what happens next ! Its a really good watch.

Great characters great music great effects a great series whats not to love.

I've watched a couple of episodes on television and thought maybe I should get the box set, well I'm glad I did because I can't seem to stop watching it.

Well worth the purchase!

Fantastic on screen relationship these lads have and this continues throughout all series, their characters are developed so well. Thanks Eric Kripke for a fantastic series.

This is a timeless TV thriller/action series, that pushes the limits of modern television. A once suburban family, becomes skilled hunters of the supernatural after a creature kills the two Winchester boys mother. Something big is going down as the boys search for their father and take down any monster or demon that gets in their way.

A great start to a tv series that will be a cult classic. Its got classic rock songs, a great car, two hard hitting brothers out saving lives and hunting evil.

I must confess this isn't really my kind of show but it is my friends who loves the show. Great for fans of the show and a great value and as always Mighty Ape is a great place to shop. I ordered, paid, it came the next day and it was a great gift. Fast, No hassles and great service what can I say.

These guys are so cute, add that to a great story line and well matched rock theme songs, if you haven't seen it you are missing out on a real treat.

I started watching “Supernatural” on TV at the end of season two and by the time I was 5 episodes into season three on TV, decided I had to go buy the first season to get to grips with the whole backstory! What a great buy! I have been reintroduced to the horror genre and enjoyed the scares! I haven't been that scared in ages!

Fantastically crafted stories and an incredible flimic quality as well as some well balanced humour and strong character development made this a great watch!

A cross between x files and buffy the vampire slayer. This series gives a new take on the pursuit of the supernatural.

The two cental characters, brothers, track down supernatural occurances seeking to find answers as to how their mother died. All this is accompanied by classic rock music and the odd reference to 70's and 80's bands.

Some genuinely good scary parts and a story that builds over each episode without overshadowing the uniqueness each episode has. Enjoy.
