This film contains some of the most amazing war footage ever taken, documenting the capture in detail. In 1989 the U-505 was designated a National Historic Landmark. Since 1954 over 23 million visitors have toured the U-505.

Many other aspects of submarine warfare are examined. Join the unsung heroes of submarine warfare who went to sea in submarines, carrying the battle to the enemy in his own waters, from Pearl Harbour to the surrender in Tokyo Bay.
