I haven't used many professional mouse pads, but I simply can't imagine anything being better.
I'm a graphic designer/animator, I use 2 ‘regular’ quality mice for my laptop and home PC, as well as a Logitech G5 for my technical work, and an Intuos 3 for my (horrible) painting.
I ALSO have a $200 ergonomic mouse for my RSI. This pad, and my G5, work SO accurately, and so smoothly, everything else has already been put in a box. Except the tablet, my painting sucks, but no mouse can change that ;)
A lot of colleagues use tablets for general work to reduce strain and improve accuracy, but it will be a LONG time before aything beats this with my quite dated G5, it's a relaxing pleasure to use.
I had NO idea a mouse pad could make this kind of difference. Just be sure to use the teflon strip I almost threw away by accident (duuuur)…
OH MY, I forgot about C.O.D.4 coming out, that could be interesting!
Overall, it's a bit pricey, but come on, how much time do you spend ‘mousing’? you'll spend 20k+ on a car, do your wrist a favor.
