Before this I had a pair of Siberia V2's and in all honesty I prefer the V2's. These look more stylish and are more comfortable, however don't be fooled… The sound quality is slightly (very slightly) worse, they removed the in-line volume and replaced the old rigid cord with a flimsy one. While the memory foam ear cups are amazing I really dislike the 4-pole mic and audio jack they added in place of the previous 3-pole individual audio and mic jacks. Because of this transition I had to constantly use the extension cord even though the distance was less than a meter which resulted in my cord getting tangled up in the chair wheels. Following this I had to buy an adapter and so on. Please SteelSeries keep it simple stupid!
