If you're a Stargate SG-1 Fan you'll love the new bad guys THE ORI (related to the Ancients) powerful beings who do some serious butt kicking
We see our Jaffa friend now free from the Goa'uld struggling to maintain law and order as one free Jaffa Nation and eventually join in the fight against THE ORI
Ba'al is back with his army of clones (of himself) trying to dominate the free Jaffa
Teal'c, Sam and Daniel are back and we're introduced to General Langly (Leader SGC) Col Mitchell (Leader SGI) Vala Mal Doran (Prometheus Unbound – Season 8) and we're introduced to THE ALLIANCE who are hunting Vala and Daniel. We see old friends return (Dr Fraser and Matooth)
We see a few Indiana Jones type series in which SG1 are searching for Merlin's weapon
Overall as a devoted Stargate Fan Season 9 lacks the leadership of SG1 under Col Mitchell but Vala and THE ORI keep you on your toes. Awesome special affects
Season 10 should be interesting. Lets hope they continue after season 10
