Well what can be said about this? Id been waiting ages to get my first glimpse of the season and I was not disappointed. The stories were well thought out and tied up a lot of the lose ends. As always the special effects and actions sequences were top notch, you'd be hard to find better on TV.
So many of the episodes were so epic and mind blowing that they could have easily taken place as series finales. Season 8 shows at that Stargate SG-1 still has a lot to offer for many years to come. Writing and acting are as fantastic as ever, unlike similarly aged shows that regurgitate old material.
As captivating and awe inspiring, this is an absolute must have for any true Sci-Fi fan or anyone who appreciates good television.
The one negative thing (well not really negative) is it takes a while to get used to Teal'c having hair!!
