Description

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock – The Feature Film

A dying planet. A fight for life…

Admiral Kirk’s defeat of Khan and the creation of the Genesis planet are empty victories. Spock is dead and McCoy is inexplicably being driven insane. Then a surprise visit from Sarek, Spock’s father provides a startling revelation: McCoy is harbouring Spock’s living essence. With one friend alive and one not, but both in pain. Kirk attempts to help his friend by stealing the USS Enterprise and defying Starfleet’s Genesis planet quarantine. But the Klingons have also learned of Genesis and race to meet Kirk in a deadly rendezvous.

Critic Reviews:

  • " This “Star Trek,” the liveliest and most likable of the three, will satisfy hard-core Trekkies and win more than a few new recruits to their ranks. " – Jay Carr
  • " An emotionally satisfying science fiction adventure. " – Variety Staff
  • " May be the unappreciated middle child of the Trek franchise, but it's still one of better and more indispensable episodes. " – Steven D. Greydanus
