Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures by Christiane Kubrick
Sorry, this product is not currently available to order

Referred to as "the grandmaster of film making" by Steven Spielberg in his foreword to this illustrated celebration of his life, Stanley Kubrick's output totalled only 13 features since 1953, but their variety and impact surpassed many, more prolific, directors. From the powerful Great War movie "Paths of Glory", to the multi-istar epic "Spartacus", the black humour of Lolita, the nightmarish satire of "Dr Strangelove" and the serene visual beauty of "2001: A Space Odyssey", Kubrick's movies are his monument. In this book, his widow, Christiane, pays tribute to him.

Born in Germany in 1932, Christiane Kubrick is a former actress (she appeared in Paths of Glory) who is now a distinguished painter.
