We love a good pizza at our favourite local wood fired restaurant, but likely going to just enjoy our pizza’s at home now. Beyond impressed with this purchase – we used it over a coal fire that has a lid which closes. Once our fire was ready we put the cooker in and it took about another 15 mins to get that to temp to heat up the stone. We found as long as we got the temp over 200 deg Celsius (it measures in Fahrenheit as well) the pizzas took between 7–10 mins to cook to depending how crispy you like your base. We used a yeast dough recipe and have pretty much got both our dough recipe and preference of cook bedded down on our first try. We also bought the recommended pizza lifter with it so slight feeling of chef-ness added to our experience👌The pizza maker and stone are a little weighted (about 5.5kg together) but just made it have that quality feel. Highly recommend this product – didn’t break the bank which was a bonus 😉
