Author Biography:

GUGLIELMO CHIODI is Professor of Economics at the University of Rome 'Sapienza', Italy. He conducted research work over several years at the University of Cambridge, UK, and has been Visiting Professor at the European University Institute of Fiesole. He has published articles in theoretical economics and is the author of Wicksell's Monetary Theory. LEONARDO DITTA is Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Law, University of Perugia, Italy. He worked and taught at University of Rome 'Sapienza', Italy, and, from 1998 to 2000, at the University E. Mondlane, Maputo, Mozambique, as R
