When I’m able to connect to multiplayer games, it’s fun. But there’s a well-known ‘communication error’ that stops people connecting, and that can also disconnect you from games you’re actually able to get into. The error happens whether you use wifi or Ethernet. Oh, and when you disconnect because of the error, it counts as a loss.
I played the demo and after playing this for a few weeks I can honestly say Splatoon 3 is so much more than just a “re-skinned” Splat 2. So much has improved and added and battles feel so much fresher and chaotic with the new weapon specials and new stages. After playing the demo, I genuinely could not go back to Splat 2 as it just wasn't fun anymore. Connectivity issues are a bit prominent but those will be patched in future updates. If you enjoyed Splat 2 or are looking at getting Splatoon, Splat 3 is for you!! :)
