Episode 9, 10 & 11 - The Most Dangerous Race (Part 1, 2 & 3): The Big Alpine Race is the next event that the Racer team have entered. There are many other contestants, including Racer X and Snake Oiler from the ar Acrobatic Team. The Big Alpine Race is a pretty straight forward race, except that it involves a jump across a canyon with a drop of 1000 feet. Snake Oiler and his team seem confident, as they and their cars are accustomed to acrobatic feats, which they demonstrated during the Stunt Car Spectacular. Pops and Speed however do not feel confident, so Pops tries to improve the Mach 5 before the start of the Big Alpine Race. Episode 12 - Race for Revenge (Part 1): A mysterious Black car appears on the roads, causing havoc as it tries to run everything off the road. The only clue is the message the "Melange still races". Inspector Detector is sent to investigate this moving road hazard, so he goes to Racers to see if they can assist.
