Read the reviews on this and in my opinion, just what I needed and dims to perfection. Not sure why all the others say they want it dimmed more? If you want it more dim then turn it off 🤣 other than that perfect for the gamer or the everyday person 😊
I bought this for my 15-year-old son's birthday. Thought he would have fun with the colours and we could use the dimmer for night time. Did not know I would be walking into a rave every night. He has it flashing different colours which might be fun for him but not for me. Even though you use the app to control it you can switch it off at the wall. It won't put up with flicking the switch on and off multiple times but who does that anyway? This means it will need to go through the setup again which takes less than a minute. I haven't tried hooking it up with the google home thingy because I'm lazy but it seems like a good feature. Now my other two teens want one and I'm thinking about getting a few for other areas of the house.
Bulb works as expected, and the app is easy to use. Simple and quick to setup provided you are close to your wifi router.
