A skin-crawling tribute to classic creature features from the past, Slither is a creepy alien-invasion horror comedy from the producers of Dawn of the Dead (2007) and The Thing (2011). One typical evening, Grant (Michael Rooker, The Walking Dead) hits the local bar where he catches up with old friend Brenda (Brenda James). Abandoning their drinks for a moonlight stroll, the pair discovers the remains of what appears to be a meteor and a trail of glistening noxious ooze leading to a pulsating, unidentifiable mass. Suddenly, the glob comes to life and overtakes Grant, penetrating his body with a pustule-covered tentacle. An alien parasite has found and infected its unwitting human host, who must now continue to infect others in order to survive. Also featuring Nathan Fillion (Castle) and Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) Slither is a slimy, splatter-fest guaranteed to make you squirm.
