I think it was originally being developed as a sequel in the True Crimes series, before someone went bankrupt and Square Enix bought the rights and made it is own game. At first its hard to get used to driving on the left side of the road (funny that) but once you are driving is one of the more enjoyable aspects of the game, firearms are scarce so fighting off a gang of thugs with just your Kung Fu skills and the occasional knife or tire iron is a refreshing change. Great storyline and voice acting keeps you hooked till the end and a decent amount of side missions and distractions (including Cock Fights) to make it last a bit longer.

I Loved this game. Every one say its like grand theft auto ect but i don't think it is the only similar thing is the open world. I think this game is better then grand theft auto. their a better cars (Boy Racer Cars) Better Missions and plenty more to do. Any way in this game you can do a lot such as bugging places tracking people even putting them in the boot. This game has a story that you just want to keep seeing to see what happens next. I am defiantly going to keep a eye out for other games by this maker and i recommend this game to all

It's an open world game that offers enough difference (in a good way) that makes it not just a GTA IV or Saints Row spin off. I think it is better than both.
