Skins is a great show that runs through the life of troublesome teens in the United Kingdom. The series had me glued to the TV watching. The teens encounter lots of problems along the way but they manage to have a good time through out, watching skins made me feel like a young exuberant teen as well!

A brand new drama series from the makers of Shameless, Skins follows the lives and loves of a group of raucous friends in Bristol. Warm-hearted comedy, daring realism and lack of patronising moral absolutism, it is also a real rarity in TV - a drama about teenagers that is actually performed by teenagers.

Each episode is a mixture of humorous, heartbreaking and sometimes shocking stories about a group of troublesome 17 year olds. All of them sunny, optimistic kids who get high, get drunk, get laid and get up for their A levels, all the while pushing boundaries and managing their parents like only teenagers can. These kids really grab life by the balls and then give it a twirl.

Episode 9. Abigail
In the series finale, it's Anwar's 17th birthday and his mother throws him a party which would be ok if it wasn't for his disapproving father, embarrassing uncle and mocking sisters. However, the real trouble arrives when Anwar is finally forced to confront the division between his family's religion and his best friend, Maxxie's, sexuality. Meanwhile, Sid has finally sorted out his priorities and goes in search of Cassie. What he doesn't know is that Cassie is leaving that very same day for Scotland and has resigned herself to saying goodbye.
