"A raw, but very believable story"
5 stars"

We meet Zoe Baxter, who attempted several times to get pregnant with Max, her husband of 10 years. With complicated issues Zoe falls pregnant, miscarries and then has a break down in marriage. Newly divorced Zoe finds a new lover, a work collegue, Vanessa, but when Zoe marries Vanessa the question of what happens to the frozen embryos remain. Follow Zoe on her fight through court, religious beliefs of others and her own agony. Jodi Picoult had me believing that this could become a true story for some. A very raw and very realistic read. Not a YA read by all means, but to be appreciated by anyone that has had a bit of life experience under their belt.

Every life has a soundtrack. All you have to do is listen. In the aftermath of a series of personal tragedies, Zoe throws herself into her career as a music therapist. When an unexpected friendship slowly blossoms into love, she makes plans for a new life, but to her shock and inevitable rage, some people--even those she loves and trusts most--don't want that to happen. Sing You Home explores the delicate boundaries of identity, love, marriage, and parenthood. What happens when the outside world brutally calls into question the very thing closest to our hearts: family? Once again, Jodi Picoult gracefully brings the hidden tensions of life sharply into focus in this poignantly honest novel.
