Description

Everyone in your town has a story. What’s yours? In SimsVille, you create and control a living community where you can explore and influence the lives of the Sims who make it their home.

Create a town by placing individual homes, shops, and other businesses. Then move in families you design and follow them through their daily lives as they work, shop, play and make friends.

Provide for your Sims by managing their surroundings. The stunningly illustrative 3-D graphics give visually rich feedback so you can see how Sims interact with their town and each other.

The Sims of SimsVille
The family is the focus of SimsVille. As you build your town, you’re not just constructing homes and shops, you’re moving in families and giving them the necessities of life.

The Sims of SimsVille have unique personalities that govern their interests and attitudes. A family of lazy Sims might spend their time stretched out on lounge chairs, while their active neighbors will spend their time biking around town. Their personalities will even influence which restaurants they favor.

The families’ interests will also be expressed in the look of their homes—the family who loves tennis may have a court in their backyard, and families with dogs will obviously need dog houses.

The Homes of SimsVille
Each home in SimsVille has a unique look, closely tied to the status of the family living there. A family with kids might have a play set in the backyard while an unemployed Sim’s house might be in need of a new coat of paint.

Like family lots, businesses will visually communicate their economic success or failure. The grocery store that isn’t doing well will have dirty windows and empty fruit baskets lining the front of the store. A successful store will have burgeoning baskets and beautiful window displays.

The SimsVille Economy
Just as in the real world, your Sims need to work and buy goods and businesses need to hire employees and sell goods. The challenge is to strike a balance.

Keep in mind that the ability for Sims to purchase what they need or want has a big impact on their happiness and willingness to stay in town. If they can’t buy groceries, they’re going to move out of your town.
