When it comes to precision thumbstick game play I've spent a fair bit of money trying products that just don't serve useful. After the Silicon revolution of extruded molds those product are too smooth and slippery for holding a precise balance of thumb-stick bias or in throttle control Now Silicone has newer properties that can make it rough or smooth. The above product is in-between not slippery and it has hard 1mm raised nodes around the upper edges of the silicon thumb stick surface. These allow you to feather the stick with lighter pressure and game play is much cleaner than pushing or pulling the stick position. Feathering allows you to guide the stick in any direction without forcing your thumb to be overworked or RSI'd to death. I can sum up by saying the above product is even better on an old Xbone controller than the new expensive version but you be the judge. These will fit both controllers. Price- Very reasonable as these won't wear out any time soon – I expect to get 1 year out of a set.
