It was not bad to watch these great old flying boats from Aus. There should be one for the New Zealand flying boats. There were many different flying boats in New Zealand services. I think RNZAF had Sunderland into the 60s .Not a bad dvd but I wouldn't give it top marks

Description

The Film Australia cinematic gem, once lost, and now available on DVD.

This DVD examines the last days of the Sandringham Flying Boat Service which ran from Sydney to Lord Howe Island which ended in 1974. The documentary uses archival film to trace the history of the flying boats from World War Two and the 1950s and investigates the pilots, both modern and historical, who fly these majestic machines.
