I have been playing the US version of this game for ages because I was not sure if it would be released in New Zealand. Its a great game and really addictive. The voiceovers are quite good and most of the conversation is not cheesy. The story is good and quite interesting (though I haven't finished it yet). The best of course, is the gameplay.
If you like previous turn-based Shin Megami games, then you'll love this one. It combines the gameplay of the typical Shin Megami games with a bit of The Sims as well. You get to interact with the people around you and strengthen friendships & relationships. This in turn contributes to your overall strength in battle.
Apparently there was an expansion pack released in Japan and we are unsure if it will be released anywhere else. i hope it is because I'm sure it would be as awesome as the original game.
A definite ‘must play’ in my opinion as it is one of my most favourite RPG's to date.
