Author Biography:

Sherry Sherafini is a beadwork artist who has been creating beaded body adornment since 1997. She was voted one of the top 10 instructors in the United States by Bead & Button magazine, lectures and teaches throughout the US, and has won numerous awards for excellence in design. Her one-of-a-kind beaded art is known internationally and is owned and worn by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Melissa Etheridge, and Fergie. Sherry coauthored TheArt of Bead Embroidery (Kalmbach Books) with artist and dear friend Heidi Kummli, and is featured in Masters: Beadweaving (Lark). She resides in Natrona Heights, PA with her two daughters Erika and Nikki and her Boston Terrier Bailey.
