I know there are plenty of people who love this version but I really don't like it. I think it's a pretty poor adapation – and yes, I've read the book and actually quite like most of the actors. I think they changed too much and tried to make it too Hollywood. The only redeeming feature is they actually included Margaret which the old BBC version didn't include. I would suggest reading the book and/or watching the old BBC adapation (think it's from the 70's or something but it's great).
