I read a lot of positive reviews about these headphones. They arrived today and I’m no audiophile but they just sound weak and tinny. They are replacing some fairly cheap Panasonic headphones which I’m gutted to say sound better than these Sennheisers. I’ve been wondering whether I’ve missed some setup step that adds extra bass or volume but I don’t think that is the case. Just annoyed as I was looking forward to using these and now I’m considering just keeping my old ones.
Sound is good – sufficiently deep and clear. Comes with several interchangeable rubber-type ear canal molds for quite a snug fit. The inline microphone works great for phone calls. Of course, the over-ear design means it stays on throughout rigorous physical activity. I wish there would be more colour scheme options though.
Took a few days to get used to the over-ear design and break them in but they are now running great. The sound from these are excellent for a pair of sports headphones and have started using them daily. The cord does a great job of not getting tangled.
