Do not get this product, get the new cables for the HD599's with a remote mic or any other cable but not this one.
The cable started to twist itself which looked very cool at first but its most likely due to being stored in a coiled state for so long. The product no longer functions correctly after using it as my daily mobile driver for around a year.
Does what it's made to do, it's also in my opinion a much better length for use with phones, tablets gaming controllers and much less cumbersome because it doesn't have that large adapter sticking out of the input jack of your device.
