"For fans only"
5 stars"

Seasons 1 and 2 are for the real Seinfeld fan.

Season 3 and Season 5 are the best of the series.

Most memorable episode for me in this set is probably George and Jerry being driven in a Limo to a Nazi rally.

Seinfeld is underrated in New Zealand. The number one sitcoms have been “Friends” and “Will & Grace” – quite possibly the worst TV shows ever made.

Seinfeld currently shows on Prime (on and off), although someone (who deserves to be fired and rendered unemployable) decided to replace it with “The Price Is Right.” Alas, I find I have nothing to watch at all now.

It's a different story in the USA – where the show ran for nine seasons and was frequently the number one show on television. It all ended in 1998 after pay disputes. It has taken so long for the DVD release because Michael Richards, Julia Louis Dreyfus and Jason Alexander have all been demanding higher pay for the extra features you will find on the DVD.

It includes commentary, behind the scenes footage and deleted scenes that all Seinfeldians have been waiting for. Everyone should own this set. In almost every comedy, you'll see a reference to Seinfeld – even in a 2003 edition of “Scrubs” The Soup Nazi was mentioned. “Yada, Yada, Yada,” “Master of my Domain (The Contest)” “Hello, Newman” and “Stelaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” are some of the greatest quotes from television.

Buy this set, or wait for the volume 1+2 boxset which includes the tomato sauce and mustard bottles that were on the table at Monk's cafe booth.

I cried after seeing The Finale. I think that says something of “A Show About Nothing.”
