You take the role of the robot D-Tritus who comes the the world called Scrapland, a world which fears and despises organics… thats us… humans. You must work in scapland and are given the only job left, because no one else will take it… A reporter for the local newspaper. So begins your story as you investigate murders, normally, this wouldn't bother robots as they can be reconstructed from the Great Database however, the victims matrices are missing, thereby making death permanent.
Though non-linear in gameplay, there is very little to do in scrapland. The missions are extremely repetitive, consisting of either photographing something or shooting down something, there is no variety. The game has sooo much untapped potential which is a shame. The cities are large and provide a lot of differing scenery to fly around in, but theres little to actually do except a single race type and combat, once again showing little variety.
If your looking for a great adventure you wont find it here. Once you get use to the controls in the first half hour, you will find the game easily loses its lustre.
