Author Biography:

Mildred Millie Caroline Huff Coleman is granddaughter of Caroline S. Coleman. She is a Southern Foodways Her-storian, with an MA in women's studies; a BS in family and consumer sciences: food journalism and education; and a degree in Radio/TV from Emerson College, Boston. She is a University of Georgia family and consumer sciences Distinguished Alumni. Caroline Smith Sherman, oldest granddaughter and namesake of Caroline S. Coleman, is a former home economics teacher and retired Certified Woman-Owned Business owner (WSOB), with three Virginia offices. Her thirty years of sales and marketing led to a state board position in the National Association of Temporary Services.
