Wolves are fascinating predators and, although they are the ancestors of today's domestic dogs, they are and will always remain wild animals.
Fun Fact: A large adult wolf can easily devour 8 kg of meat in one go.
Wolves are considered cruel, dangerous predators. Many myths and legends tell of the “big bad” wolf, which is why it has a rather bad reputation. However, they are quite shy and cautious of humans. As outspoken pack animals, wolves do pretty much everything together: They hunt not only in groups, they also care for their young together. When wolves howl, they talk with their pack or want to warn other wolves not to enter their territory.
