Author Biography:

Arnoud Arntz is Professor of Clinical Psychology andExperimental Psychopathology at Maastricht University, theNetherlands. He is Scientific Director of the University sResearch Center of Experimental Psychopathology. He studiespsychological theories and therapies for anxiety and personalitydisorders, and is the principal investigator for a series ofmulticenter trials investigating the effectiveness of schematherapy for various personality disorders. He also practices CBTand schema therapy. Gitta Jacob is a Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive andSchema Therapist in the Department of Clinical Psychology andPsychotherapy, University of Freiburg, Germany. She is a foundingboard member of the International Society for Schema Therapy, and apast Chair of the Working Group on Borderline Personality Disordersat the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, UniversityHospital Freiburg.
