A devoted wife, mother of 5, grandmother of 10, and great grandmother of 4, Oregean Adams is lovingly referred to by most as "Jean". Known for her wisdom, grace, and love of the Word of God, the native of Brinkley, Arkansas relocated to the Little Rock area as a teenager. Jean is loved by many for her honest and genuine personality. She takes pleasure in using her life lessons to be an example and beacon of light for any and every one she comes in contact with. At the age of 16, she lost her mother. This death was followed by her father at the age of 24 and her daughter at 31. These life tragedies alone are an example of some of the hurdles she has had to endure and overcome early in life and part of her passion to help others. She received an online certification from Charles Stanley School of Ministry in the Fall of 2005. In April 2012, she received a certificate of Completion in "Building the Foundation Courses" and "Strengthening the Foundation Ministry Electives" from the St. Luke School of Ministry. Jean is currently an active member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Here, under the leadership of Pastor Eric L. Alexander, she has been a member for more than 20 years. She serves as a Minister, Christian Life Development Teacher, and a member of The Voices of St. Luke. It is her prayer and desire that Scattered Thoughts will serve as a resource for Christians to grow in their one on one time and that any non-believer reads it and develop a relationship with Christ.
