Description

Excerpt from Rural Health Care; Enhancing Service Delivery: Hearing Before the Human Resources and Intergovernmental Relations Subcommittee of the Committee on Government Operations, House of Representatives, One Hundred Third Congress, Second Session, October 9, 1994 The same should hold true for a flexible approach on how fund ing can be used in the Community Health Center Program. No one agency or pro am can meet all t e health care needs of our rural communities. Ey do not have all the needed resources to meet their local health care challenge. The only potential solution seems to be for all involved agencies or programs to have the ability to pool their resources. Obviously, if these agencies or programs can have more flexible reimbursement, the easier it would be for them to share in meeting the local community health needs.
