Description

Floyd Donnelly is only 26, but he has already spent four years in prison for violent robbery. Foul-tempered and amoral, he has made himself no friends. Even so, it's a shock when his corpse is found. Detective Chief Inspector Carson thinks he knows who is responsible: David Burchill, self-made man and owner of the property where Donnelly was squatting. Burchill admits that he sent his men round to encourage the squatters to leave. But for his actions of the night of Donnelly's death, he has a cast-iron alibi...
