Debbie Herman is a writer and editor living in Jerusalem. She is the author of several books for children, including Carla's Sandwich. She hopes to save the world one book at a time. Tammie Lyon is best known for illustrating the Katie Woo series. She also illustrated the Makers Make It Work book, Double or Nothing. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and dogs.
