Description

Karen Coupe takes on the medical profession and battles for over two decades to gain the best possible care for her daughter Sarah. This story follows Karen as her tenacity attempts to bring the gruelling seven-year medical negligence case to court.

Author Biography

Karen Coupe lives in the north of England with her daughter Sarah. Born in Lancashire, after leaving school at 15, Karen worked in her local Co-operative store. Karen eventually secured a job at the local college and pursued a career in marketing. After being abandoned by the father of her poorly child, Karen's determination to persevere and achieve the best possible life for the two of them really came into play. She spent years juggling family, her job and dialysis for Sarah. When it became clear that her marketing job could not be sustained due to the intensity of Sarah's illness, Karen put the needs of her family first, but still found time to write, edit and market a successful magazine. To say that Karen's life is inspiring is an understatement. Her story is guaranteed to play on your emotions, make you angry and warm your heart.
