Author Biography

Caroline was born in Surrey and studied illustration at Norwich Art School. After graduating she designed greetings cards for Marks and Spencer before beginning to illustrate children's books. Caroline is now a full time illustrator - along with illustrating children's books for several publishers, she works for many greetings card companies. Caroline's previous titles in Orchard's Shimmery Dinkies range are Ring Ring!, Chug Chug!, Roar! and Growl!. This first series sold over 100,000 copies and Ring Ring! was nominated for the Sainsbury's Bookstart Award 2002. Caroline now lives in Croydon with her husband, and works from home. She enjoys going to her local gym and socialising with friends in and around London.
