Description

One fine morning on a leisurely stroll Riwi stumbles across several neighbourly animals who are all heading towards a party. Excited, Riwi asks to go with them, but is meanly turned away and laughed at by the animals. Poor Riwi cannot understand why he is uninvited and feels upset. He decides to walk home, sad and confused, when suddenly upon his way he hears an enchanting echo in the distance. Riwi decides to investigate and follow the sound. What does he see? There is a wonderful surprise waiting for him, something that will surely brighten his mood and fill him with glee.

Author Biography:

Lilla grew up on a beautiful sheep farm in the Bay of Islands, NZ. She now lives in the Far North of NZ with husband Ian. Apart from writing she also enjoys artistic painting, and has painted portraits for family and friends. Lilla has created a personalised storybook for her step-grandson Blaze and a children's storybook, personalised for granddaughter Elinor. Her first novel "The Jovian Legacy" was followed by its sequel "In Between the After". Her first children's book Riwi the Kiwi, a delightful rhyming story with a message about bullying, has been a hit with local libraries and primary schools, and as far afield as the UK and the US. She has since written three more humorous children's rhyming stories which are currently in the process of being published.
