Those of you familiar with Ricky Gervais' work will know just how clever his unique style of comedy can be. Unfortunately, it seems some of the hype surrounding his work has gone to his head resulting a in pretty lacklustre, shock jock style performance. Many of the gags have been used before and many of the buildups in this set just fizzle out with pretty dull and predictable punchlines. Rent it first if you can.

If you are of a religious bent, PC, or easily offended, then don't buy this. if you like to laugh until you wet your pants, then buy this! Ricky Gervais does it again, his fourth stand up show, and still just as good as the others. He takes pot shots at religion, large people, and anyone else he doesn't like. Also there are some great extras (no pun intended…) on the DVD, including the superb Karl Pilkington and Warwick meeting and interview. He is a comic genius. Don't buy this for granny!

I bought this present for Christmas for my Fiance, we had a couple of drinks and a good laugh. It's not hard core science but Ricky Gervais has an interesting theory on religion and some pretty bad stories about fat people. Hes a funny guy, gotta love his work.
