Developed during WWII, the de Havilland Vampire was one of the first jet-powered aircraft to enter service with the RAF. Acclaimed as one of the fastest and most reliable jet engine aircraft of the era, the de Havilland Vampire was used by dozens of countries and in service well into the seventies.
