No one in the world ca rap like Eminem. His creative style continues to shine in this new album. Dr Dre has also put out some of his best beats ever for this album. The lyrical content is very funny and inventive shall we say. This is Eminem as we all know him back just like before. This album is a must have. The first time you listen to it, you kinda dunno what the heck is going on but give it a second listen and listen to each and every word and you start to love each and every song.

"Disgusting, profanity filled brilliance"

If you are looking for songs about drug taking, murder and kidnap, then Eminem's ‘Relapse’ is perfect for you. This is not his best work, however there is not a single low-point on the album, with every song being listenable. However there are not a lot of high-points, with the single ‘Beautiful’ easily being the best song. The only real negative thing to say about this release is that Eminem's customary anger is lacking. This leaves many of the songs with cutting lyrics being said as though they were bed-time stories. A must for fans, but not a classic.

It's been a long five years, but Eminem is back with Relapse, his first album since 2004's Encore...

Arguably the most popular rapper of all time - Eminem went on hiatus after touring in 2005. He returns following the murder of his D12 bandmate Proof, and the rise of countless pretenders to the rap throne he used to hold. And there is no doubt he's here to reclaim his throne as the #1 rapper in the game...

*Eminem has sold more than 75,000,000 records worldwide, 600,000 of those in New Zealand alone!

*His previous album 'Encore' reached #1 in multiple countries worldwide and dominated charts late in 2004. Certified quadruple Platinum in New Zealand and spinning off 4 Top 10 hits, the Grammynominated disc has sold more than 11 million copies around the Globe.

*The #1, 5x Platinum 2005 Greatest Hits collection 'Curtain Call: The Hits' and #1, 2x Platinum 2006 Various Artists compilation 'Eminem Presents: The Re-up”, followed.

*In October 2008, Eminem released 'Eminem: The Way I Am' a book compiling thoughts, stories, and memorabilia from various points in his life. The book entered the New York Times Best-sellers list at #11.

On the first Relapse single 'We Made You', Eminem hasn't lost a step, teaming with Dr Dre for a banger of a track that rides robust horns and a hard-hitting drumline. Armed with an array of cultural references, no celebrity is safe from Eminem's quickfire barbs. His iconic irreverence and rapid-fire barrage of insults (targeted at such figures as Lindsey Lohan, Sarah Palin, and Jessica Alba) is punctuated with a careening, nostalgic hook. On screen the song is teamed with a video that encompasses Star Trek, Jessica Simpson, guitar hero, Sarah Palin, a polar bear and much more (what else could you ask for?) ....We Made You' is a typically irreverent Eminem single that lives up to his greatness!
