We initially had a Gro Egg room thermometer for baby's bedroom, but I wanted a mains-powered device that also reported humidity. I bought the Reer HygroTemp thinking this was going to be perfect, but have been disappointed to find it consistently over-reports the temperature compared to the Gro Egg. I even compared both with a battery powered temperature and humidity sensor, which simply showed the HygroTemp was the odd device out when it came to reporting temperature. It usually over-reports by nearly 2 degrees, narrowing somewhat towards 1 degree in warmer temperatures. Sadly for the price I paid I would love to return it as unsuitable, but couldn't be bothered with the hassle and have accepted that it is at least an indicator of temperature even if it isn't accurate.
