Author Biography

The author starts life in the subarctic, eventually goes to live in the tropics, and carries on through the world's historical, modern, and geographic centres, always striving to observe and learn more about the people who make up the human community, its cultures, languages, and civilizations. The author of the Terrian Journals series begins this writing while living in Rio de Janeiro, Cordoba, and Valparaiso when nasty military dictatorships are on the way out and democracies are returning, seven years before the Berlin Wall collapses.
