I went to this at the theatre on release day (Friday the 13th) and wasn't disappointed. I just wish there were more special features on the dvd though for the price.
If you have seen the original, this entry builds on the more supernatural theme rather than the biological virus theme. It takes place literally moments after the events of part 1 which I really liked, and builds up the story nicely for part 3. If your one of the people who can't enjoy a horror movie if it contains any religous themes and can only enjoy biological virus/rabies type of zombie flicks, then this movie isn't for you.
I personally welcome the supernatural themes, its something different in a worn out over cliched genre.
